As questions come in concerning the Frog Bot Editor, I will post the responses here.

Common Questions

What do I do about the "unexpected error" message?

Try any of these:

  1. Try deleting the fbedit.ini file.
  2. Try moving the files fbedit.exe and fbreadme.htm to a different location.
  3. Eliminate any bogus bot files that you know of. The error checking is primitive, and only reads in lines begining with "wait;" and ignores everything else.
  4. Edit the file fbedit.ini and add "DebugMode=True" to the file. This will show you every file that is being loaded, and possibly help you eliminate the error.

I get a message saying I am missing "MSVBVM50.DLL", what do I do about it?

Go to the Files page and download the VB Run Time Files. FBEdit is available as a minimum install only. The VB RT Files can be unzipped and installed by running the setup program I made to install the files needed by FBEdit.
